Voters Registration Begins for Election in Three Regions: NEBE

ADDIS ABABA – Voters registration for the election in Harari, Somali, and SNNP Regions has started today, said the Electoral Board on Wednesday.

The registration began as per the new Electoral calendar the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) announced on August 23.



The registration, which began on Wednesday, will continue until September 10, reads to the calendar.

The new Electoral calender unveiled a few days after NEBE officials held a meeting with political parties who are running in the constituencies where it was not held on June 21.

According to the calendar, the referendum of the South Western People of Ethiopia, in the SNNP region, is expected be held on the same day.
