Ministry Discloses Placement for Fresh University Students
ADDIS ABABA – Ministry of Education has announced university students’ placement for the 2021/22 academic calendar.
The ministry said students who took the 2020/21 Grade 12 national exam and managed to score cut-off points for university entrance can check their placement, beginning from Monday, April 25, 2022.
The placement can be seen online, telegram bot and text messages (see below), it added.
More than 150, 000 students are expected to join public universities under the government’s scholarships program.
At least 42% of the students are female.
The public universities are expected to finish their preparations to accept first-year students on May 26, 2022, and then start to notify their registration and admission schedules.
“Until then, students need to make the necessary preparations,” the Ministry said.
