Malawi’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Passes Away
ADDIS ABABA – The newly deployed Ambassador of Malawi to Ethiopia, Charles Peter Msosa has passed away.
Msosa died on Monday around 9:00 PM in Addis Ababa where he was receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed illness.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia has expressed its “profound sadness” on the passing away of Ambassador Msosa.
The ministry also conveyed “the deepest sympathy to the Government and people of Malawi on their loss and wishes for consolation to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased.”
Ambassador Msosa handed his Letters of Credence to the President of Ethiopia on January 5, 2022.
Msosa was also Permanent Representative to the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
