Hundreds of Ethiopians repatriated from Saudi Arabia

ADDIS ABABA – About 338 Ethiopians have been airlifted from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Fridayafternoon, Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed.

Its spoksperson office said said the repatriation is part of government’s effort, involving concerned bodies, to bring back Ethiopians stranded in different countries.

The returnees were received at Bole International Airport by a representative of the Consulate General Directorate of the Ministry.

This week alone, a total of 1, 114 Ethiopian nationals have been repatriated from the  number of  citizens repatriated from gulf nations mainly from Saudi Arabia.
