Ethiopian Adds Mauritius to its Growing Cargo network

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Airlines, one of Africa’s most successful carriers, has added Mauritius to its network to capitalize on the Indian Ocean island nation’s foreign trade.

Reports say the island nation’s export trade grew by eight per cent to 5.6 billion US dollars in 2018 alone. The country still import trade remains more than its exports.

“Mauritius will join Ethiopian Cargo’s extended network starting from October 02, 2020,” announced the Airlines.

Ethiopian Airlines has a developed pan-African passenger and cargo network.

It also serves 127 other international destinations across five continents with a fleet which includes modern and environmentally-friendly aircraft including the A350, B787-8, B787-9, B777- 300ER, B777-200LR and the B777-200 freighter.
