Abiy Holds Talks with French President Macron
ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has held talks over multiple issues with the President of France Emanuel Macron.
The two leaders spoke about cooperation between their countries over the phone on Wednesday.
In a tween, Prime Minister Abiy said it’s “always good talking to my friend President Emmanuel Macron”.
“The cooperation between our two countries spans 125 years based on trust and respect,” the premier noted.
Abiy and Macron discussed bilateral and regional issues when they last met on the margins of the EU-AU leaders summit in Brussels in February 2022.
“Today, we have discussed various facets of our cooperation,” Prime minister Abiy said in a tweet on Wednesday.
