The Trazees 2022: Ethiopian Airlines named Favorite Airline in Africa

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Airlines has won ‘Favorite Airline in Africa’ in the 2022 Trazees Awards survey by Global Travel magazine.

Readers of the Trazee Travel – a resource for travelers tips, reviews, and the latest travel trends – selected their favorites in the world of travel for the year 2022.

The Ethiopian national flag career has been selected as the Favorite Airline in Africa for a third consecutive year.

“We are extremely proud to be voted as the favorite airline in Africa by our customers,” said the airlines.

Trazee Travel also recognized other regional airline winners, including Air Canada, Favorite Airline in North America; Aerolineas Argentinas, Favorite Airline in Central/South America; and TAP Air Portugal, Favorite Airline in Europe.

Qatar Airways was also chosen as the Favorite Airline in the Middle East; while EVA Air was picked as the Favorite Airline in Asia.

The main winner of all is United Airlines which flies away with a plethora of accolades. The Chicago-headquartered airlines won Favorite International Airline and Favorite Green Airline honors.

Flying over to our airport winners, South Africa’s O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg become a double winner – the ‘Favorite Airport in Africa’ and the ‘Favorite Duty-Free Shopping in Africa’ awards.

İGA İstanbul Grand Airport, the Türkiye hub, claimed the ‘Favorite Overall Airport in the World’ title. 

Among aircraft, the Airbus A350, used by many of our airline winners, was recognized as the Favorite Aircraft Type title.
