Ethiopian Transported over 50m test-kits from S. Korea to US & Canada

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services has transported more than 50 million covid-19 test kits from South Korea to the United States and Canada in the first quarter of 2022.

Ethiopian said 61 flights transported 3200 tons of cargo from South Korea to the two northern American countries. The cargo flights were carried out between January and March, 2022.

“Our schedule flexibility and operational excellence were absolutely essential” in making the deliveries on time to their final destinations, said the airline’s official.

The cross-sectional handling in each airport’s operations control team in Addis Ababa and destination agents collaborated in real-time to make the deliveries, the official added.
