17 Ethiopian Employees Bag Master’s Degree from Mississippi Univ.
ADDIS ABABA – The University of Mississippi, in partnership with Ethiopian Aviation Academy (EAA), has graduated the 17 employees of Ethiopian Airlines in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC).
The graduation today comes four years after Ethiopian Airlines Group and the University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU, signed in April 2018, has enabled the academy to introduce more aviation related training programs into its existing courses including the MA Program in Integrated Marketing Communication.
In a statement today, the Airlines said seventeen Ethiopian employees have added Master’s degree in IMC from the University to their impressive experience.
“Congratulations to all graduates,” said the airlines. The graduates are members of the Ethiopian Airlines management team.
Apart from the IMC, the partnership with Mississippi University added Aviation Executive EMBA and a four-year engineering degree training programs into the EAA’s courses.
With an annual intake capacity of over 4000 trainees, the EAA is the most modern aviation academy in Africa recognized as ICAO regional Training Center of Excellence.
The Academy offers Pilot, Cabin Crew, Commercial and Aviation Maintenance courses in addition to the Leadership and Career Development Training.
Meanwhile, the University of Mississippi, founded in 1848, is the largest public research university in the southern US state. It has a long history of producing leaders in public service, academics and business.
