Ethiopian Resumes Flights to Madagascar’s Resort City
ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Airlines has resumed its flight to Nosy Be, Madagascar’s largest and busiest tourist resort city, on Saturday.
The airlines announced the restart of the flight in a brief statement after its first plane arrived in the resort city on Saturday afternoon.
Nosy Be, which means “big island” in Malagasy, is an island off Madagascar’s northwestern coast known for its pristine white sands, clear waters, and most popular beach.
Ethiopian started its inaugural flight to the city in March 2018. The flight is its second gateway in Madagascar after the Capital Antananarivo.
From its hub at Addis Ababa, Ethiopian airlines serves 116 international destinations. About 60 of them are in Africa.
