Maltese Companies Keen to Invest in Ethiopia

ADDIS ABABA – Maltese Companies are interested to invest in various sectors, particularly Agro-processing and three other areas, in Ethiopia, investment officials said.

The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) officials held discussion with the Ambassador of Malta to Ethiopia, Ronald Micallef, on Wednesday.

The discussion was focused on investment and business partnership between the two countries.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to work on joint investment promotion and further engagements to strengthen economic cooperation, according to the EIC.

“Maltese enterprises are keen to invest in Ethiopia particularly in the agro-processing, pharmaceutical, tourism, and ICT sectors,” said the commission after the discussion.
