Grade 12 National Exam Slated for Second Week of Nov
ADDIS ABABA – National Exam agency on Wednesday said grade 12 national examination for 2013 Ethiopian academic year will be carried out in the second week of November, 2021.
After several delays, the Ethiopian National Educational Assessment and Examination Agency (NEAEA) decided to administrate the grade 12 national examination from Nov 8 to 11, 2021.
According to the new schedule, students are expected to collect their admission cards in a three-day period between Oct 4 to 6.
More than 616, 000 students will sit for the national exam, said Dr. Dilamo Otore, NEAEA’s director-general.
About 283,464 of them are female students, he added. The total number is also composed of 276,632 students in the natural science stream while the remaining 340,000 students are in the social science stream.
“Students are advised to prepare themselves as per the schedule,” the agency officials said, urging them not to violate the exam regulations.
The NEAEA has recruited more than 16, 000 examiners and 6, 156 supervisors for the exam to take place in 2,112 schools. In addition, more than 9000 security officers will work for the successful completion of the national exam, says the Agency.
