Ethiopia, Ghana will work closely on Issues of Common interest: Abiy

ADDIS ABABA -Leaders of Ghana and Ethiopia have agreed on Wednesday to enhance cooperation on various areas of mutual concern.

PRime Minister Abiy Ahmed has continued his west African tour in Ghana today after a day-long working visit in Senegal.



At the Presidential Palace in Accra, the PM held discussion with President Nana Akufo-Addo on a wide range of issues.

“My appreciation to President Nakufo-Addo for receiving my delegation and I at the Presidential Palace in Accra for a discussion on a wide range of issues,” Abiy said in a brief message on twitter.

“Ethiopia and Ghana will work closely on bilateral and African issues of common interest,” he said.

Abiy and his delegation concluded their two-day long trip to west Africa on Thursday and have returned to Ethiopia.

The PM Office described the working visit to Senegal and Ghana as successful.
