454 More Ethiopians Airlifted from Saudi Arabia

ADDIS ABABA – 454 more Ethiopian nationals have been brought back to their home country on Wednesday as the government continues to repatriate citizens stranded in Saudi Arabia.

As part of the ongoing repatriation effort to bring back Ethiopians in dire situations abroad, 454 citizens, mainly women and children, were airlifted from Jedah city of the gulf nation today, says the spokesperson office of Ethiopian Forign Ministry in a statement.

The government began the ongoing repatriating process of its undocumented migrants detainedin the gulf nation fortnights ago.

To date, close to 3, 500 Ethiopian nationals have been airlifted from various cities of Saudi Arabia.
