Govt Repatriates 437 more Ethiopians from Saudi Arabia
ADDIS ABABA – At least 437 more Ethiopians have come back home on Monday as the government continues to repatriate its citizens stranded in Saudi Arabia.
The spokesperson office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said 437 Ethiopian nationals including 84 children returned back to their home country from Jeddah city of the gulf nation.
A senior official from the Ministry welcomed the returnees upon their arrival at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
Ethiopia began the ongoing repatriating process of its undocumented migrants from the gulf nation fortnights ago in collaboration with its aid partners.
To date, nearly 3, 000 people, mainly women and children, have been airlifted from various cities of Saudi Arabia.
