Ethiopia to Hold Parliamentary Election on June 5

ADDIS ABEBA – The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia says the parliamentary election will be held on June 5, 2021.

Vote for councils of Addis Abeba and Dire Dawa city administrations is scheduled for June 12.



The parliamentary election was initially slated for August but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The board’s draft schedule staled  the national vote for June 5. Results would be due between June 5 – 28, 2021.
