Dates for National Graduate Admission Test Announced

ADDIS ABABA – The Ministry of Education of Ethiopia has set the dates for the national Graduate Admission Test (GAT).

The ministry in partnership with Addis Ababa University, Ethio Telecom, and all Public Universities will administer the test digitally at the national level.

The GAT is designed to screen and determine the suitability of candidates for admission to a graduate program in any university.

The partners say it will be given for three days from October 09 at various public universities.

They invited candidates to apply between Oct 2 and Oct 6 and take a Mock GAT exam on one of the three days between October 4 and 6, 2023.

GAT is administered digitally utilizing the private network infrastructure of the Public Universities and Higher Education Institutions.

“Candidates are, therefore, required to take the test using computer labs at public universities,” the AAU says.

Candidates should also register for the Graduate Admission test by logging into AAU’s portal [https://portal.aau.edu.et] and pay the required fee via TeleBirr AAU, GAT.
