Ethiopia Invites Singapore’s PSA to Engage in Logistics
ADDIS ABABA – The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) has invited the PSA International, a Singaporean port group, to engage in the East African nation’s logistics sector.
An Ethiopian delegation – led by EIC Commissioner Lelise Neme – is attending the Africa Singapore Business Forum 2023.
On the sidelines today, Commissioner Lelise and the Industrial Development Corporation CEO Akililu Tadese held discussions with PSA officials during a visit to the company’s facilities in Singapore.
The duo presented the investment potential in their country and extended an invitation to the company to discover the opportunities firsthand.
According to the commissioner, the PSA is keen to engage in Ethiopia, particularly in the logistics sector.
“PSA, a major investor, eyeing Ethiopia’s rapidly growing logistics sector,” said Lelisa.
With main operations in Singapore and Antwerp, PSA’s global network encompasses over
50 locations in 26 countries around the world.
The Group’s portfolio comprises more than 60 deepsea, rail and inland terminals, as well as affiliated businesses in distriparks, warehouses and marine services.
