Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea Sign Collaboration Agreement on Mining, Petroleum Sector

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia and Equatorial Guinea have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the mining and petroleum sector today.

Minister of Mines Takele Uma and his Equatorial Guinea counterpart, Gabriel Mbaga Obiang, signed the MoU in Addis Ababa.

Obiang arrived at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport where he was welcomed by Mining Minister Takele and Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO  Mesfin Tasew.

The newly signed agreement with the central African nation includes exchanges of information in the mining, natural gas, and petroleum sector.

Expected services by Ethiopian Airlines to various companies in Equatorial Guinea are also included in the agreement, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
