Ethiopian, Israeli Chambers Sign Trade, Invest. Collaboration Deal

ADDIS ABABA – The Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA) has signed a trade and investment deal with its Israeli counterpart on Friday.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding took place at the opening of the 2022 Israeli-Ethiopia Business conference in Addis Ababa.

The consultative joint meeting discussed collaboration in agriculture, industry and private sector development with a view to foster trade and investment ties between Ethiopia and Israel.

Israel embassy together with Ethiopian Chamber of commerce brought businesses and Sector Associations from the two countries together at the Business conference.

“It’s with great honor,” the Embassy said, that it also helped to pave “the way for Ethiopian and Israeli Chambers of Commerce to sign an MOU, bring business women and men from both countries together.”

Industry Minister Melaku Alebel, Foreign Affairs State Minister, Ambassador Redwan Hussien and Ambassador of Israel to Ethiopia, Alelign Admasu attended the signing ceremony.
