Ethiopia Reports 35 New Covid Cases, Zero Deaths

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia on Friday registered 35 more Covid-19 infections and zero related fatalities.

The latest cases, identified from nearly 4,000 tests conducted on the day, took the confirmed total to 470, 550, according to the ministry of health.

The nation’s recovery tally reached 455m 380, with the addition of 88 recovery, the ministry reported.

The Covid-19 death toll stays at 7, 510 as the number of days with no fatality cases reported extended to nine days.

Eleven severely sick Covid-19 patients are currently in hospital, getting medical treatment in hospital, says the report.

The nation offered any Covid-19 vaccine on Friday as the vaccine drive stays at a standstill.

Ethiopia has administered over 29.41 doses of the vaccine, and about 24.5m it’s citizens are also fully vaccinated against the virus.
