Police Nab Two Cameroonians in Fake Currency Case

ADDIS ABABA – Two Cameroonians were arrested for allegedly running a counterfeit foreign currency racket in Addis Ababa.

The arrest, made on Friday last week, came after a tip-off from a member of the public, according to Ethiopian Federal Police.

The suspects were seized along with fake foreign currencies and materials they were using to make them in a house located in the Bole area, said police on Monday.

Banknotes of China, Myanmar, Tanzania, Sudan and US were among the foreign currencies seized by the Police.
