Ethiopian Airlines announces Non-stop Flights to Tokyo

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Airlines announced on Tuesday that it has begun operating on-stop flight from Addis Ababa to Tokyo.



The non-stop service between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport started as of Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

The airline started a direct flight to Tokyo more than seven years ago, on April 15, 2015, using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

It has since been flying three times a week with a stop in Hong Kong in both directions.

Ethiopian said it has added the non-stop flight to Tokyo in a bid to enhance the Airline’s customers experience.



“Towards our commitment of enhancing customer experience, we are set to operate nonstop flights to/from Tokyo- Narita as of 15th February, 2022,” said the airlines on Tuesday.

Ethiopian Airlines currently serves 127 International destinations.

Including Tokyo, 18 of them are in Asia.
