Flight Services to Bahir Dar, Gondar Resume after Disruption

ADDIS ABABA – Flight services to Bahir Dar and Gondar cities have resumed after a day of severe weather induced disruptions.



The Airlines experienced flight disruptions in its two local destinations due to severe weather conditions.

In a statement today, Ethiopian said it has resumed flight services to the destinations after the conditions around the two cities improved.

“Ethiopian Airlines would like to announce the resumption of flights to Gondar and Bahir Dar after it had canceled flights to the cities due to severe weather,” said the airlines on Monday afternoon.



The national flag carrier Airlines has apologized “to its valued customers for the inconvenience”.

The two cities, located in Amhara regional state, are among the 23 local destinations of Ethiopian from its hub at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
