One Killed, 9 Others Injured in Head-on Collision Crash in Amhara Region

ADDIS ABABA – One person has been killed in a head-on crash in Amhara region that also left nine others with injuries, police say.

The road accident occurred in Agew Awi Zone’s Fegita Lekoma District at 08:00a.m. today.

A minibus, commonly known as Dolphin, heading to Bahir Dar collided head-on with an Isuzu truck going in the opposite direction in Awash kebele, according to the District police.

One person immediately died in the crash that has left a total of nine people with injuries.

Three of them sustained serious injuries, said the police, urging drivers to observe speed limits to avoid deadly accidents.
