Leaders of Ethiopia and Turkey Hold Talks on Bilateral Ties
ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed on Friday met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Istanbul ahead the third Turkey-Africa Partnership.
The meeting took place hours after the PM, hus delegation, arrived Istanbul on Friday Morning.
“My delegation and I met with President @RTErdogan today in a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the #TurkeyAfricaSummit,” Abiy tweeted after the meeting.
“The historical relations between our two countries have always been rooted in mutual respect,” he said. “Our partnership continues based on constructive engagement.”
