ADDIS ABABA – President of Ethiopia Sahle-Work Zewde has started her official visit to Côte d’Ivoire on Thursday.
Earlier today, Sahle-work left Addis Ababa for Abidjan where she was warmly welcomed by her counterpart Alassane Ouattara.
The two officials are expected to “discuss on current situation in Ethiopia”, said the president office of Ethiopia.
The discussion will also explore ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two African countries, the office added.
It also said the president will meet the Ethiopian community in the west African nation as well as officials of African Development Bank (AfDB), headquartered in Abidjan.
