Zemen Bus to Provide Free Transport Service to Displaced People Returning Home
ADDIS ABABA – Zemen Bus, one of the biggest transnational bus operators in Ethiopia, is to give free transport service to displaced people who want to return to their home.
The service will be available for 10 consecutive days on the Addis Ababa-Dessie route as of Monday, according to the Addis Ababa Press secretary Office.
Displaced people who want to go to Showa Robit, Kombolcha, Dessie and their surroundings could register at its ticket offices in the capital and use the service free of charges, said the bus operator.
It also said preferential treatment will be given to elders, children and their mothers as well as essential travelers with verification documents.
