Ex-Director General Addis Ababa City Roads Authority Passes Away

ADDIS ABABA – Former Director General of Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA), Eng. Fekade Haile, has passed away.

Fekade’s death was announced on Sunday afternoon, with the Authority paying tributes quickly for one of its longest the serving boss.

“He has made who a significant impact in the efforts to provide adequate road infrastructure in Addis Ababa,” said the Authority.

Management and staff of the authority has extended their “heartfelt condolences to the family and friends” of Eng. Fekade.

Fekade served as director-general of the Addis Ababa Roads Authorthy for thirteen years, starting from 2003.

The funeral service for Eng. Fekadu will be held at Sahalite Mihret Church on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, according to AACRA.
