Landslide Disrupts Addis Ababa-Gojjam Route

ADDIS ABABA – The main road linking Addis Ababa to Gojjam is blocked by debris caused by a landslide, Ethiopian Roads Authority(ERA) said on Friday.

The landslide occurred late last night in an area called Filiklik inside Abay Bereha. It has disrupted the transportation service since late last night, said ERA.

The Authority said efforts are on to clear the road as soon as possible in collaboration with an emergency team already in the area.

The publice will be informed when the issue is resolved, it added.
