Chefe Oromia Approves 124bln birr Budget for 2020/21 FY

ADDIS ABABA –The Oromia regional state council (Chefe) on Friday approved a 124 billion birr budget for the 2014 Ethiopian fiscal year, reported FBC.

The council unanimously endorsed the 2124 billion birr budget for the 2020/21 fiscal year, which started on July 8, during its 13th regular session held in Adama city.

The region allocated 29 billion for capital budget, 73 billion birr budget for Woredas, 19 billion birr to support city administrations and other spending, and 600 million birr reserve budget.

The council concluded its two-day long meeting, after discussing various regional and national issues, on Friday afternoon.
