Commission Installing More Machines to Inspect Aid Cargos going into Tigray

ADDIS ABABA – The National Disaster Risk Management Commission installing additional machines for inspection of humanitarian cargoes going to the Tigray region, reported Fana Broadcasting.

Commissioner Mitiku Kassa stated that a convoy of 60 heavy trucks loaded with food and non-food aid items has entered Mekelle City.

The installation of the additional machinery is aimed to speed up humanitarian aid delivery to the region.

Two machines are under assembly at checkpoints in Serdo and Afdera towns as procurement of another 10 is under way, reported the FBC.
