Ethiopia, World Bank Sign Two Grant agreements amounting $137mln
ADDIS ABABA – Two grant agreements worth $137.35mln US dollars have been signed between Ethiopia and the World Bank on Wednesday.
The finance agreements – signed by State Minister of Finance Yasmin Wohabrebbi, and World Bank’s country director Ousmane Dione in Addis Ababa, will fund the implementation of Global Partnership for Education for the COVID-19 Education Response Project (CERP) in the East African country.
The project aims to enable the recovery and resilience of the education system of Ethiopia which has been heavily affected by covid-19 pandemic.
