Ethiopia Records 351 Covid-19 cases, 3 Deaths
ADDIS ABEBA – Ethiopia has recorded additional 351 cases and 3 covid-related deaths on Monday, according to Ministry of Health’s report.
Nearly 5, 000 people have been tested on the day to identify the new positive cases.
Health officials have also confirmed the death of 3 people due to the virus, pushing the death toll to 2033. The country confirmed its first COVID-19 related death on April 15.
About 224 covid-19 patients are currently hospitalized after falling severely ill. The East African nation currently has 13, 176 confirmed active cases.
On the same day, at least 188 patients have recuperated from the disease, shows the report.
To date, the country has tested nearly 1.9mln people since the first coronavirus infection identified on March 13, 2020 and confiremd 131, 549 infections. Nearly 116, 335 people have recovered after contracting the virus.
