Sudan Transitional Sovereign Council Chairman Visiting Ethiopia

ADDIS ABEBA – Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt Gen Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, is in Ethiopia for an official working visit.

Upon arrival at the Addis Abeba Bole International Airport, the Chairman and his delegation were accorded a warm welcome by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

Lt Gen Al-Burhan is expected to hold discussion with the Prime Minister on bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern, according to the Prime Minister office of Ethiopia.

On Sunday, the pair visited various development projects  including Adama Industrial Park. “During their visit they reviewed the production processes of COVID-19 protective masks,” the PM office said.

Abiy and al-Burhan have also visited the Eastern Industrial Zone in Dukem and observed the production of medicine and oxygen at the Sun Shang Pharmaceutical Factory.

It is to be recalled that last Tuesday Al-Burhan has paid a state visit to Egypt and held talks with Egyptian President, Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi.
