Ethiopia Confirms 665 New COVID-19 Cases, 12 Deaths

ADDIS ABEBA – Ethiopia On Friday reported 665 new COVID-19 infections of Coronavirus, pushing the number of confirmed cases to nearly 88, 000.

The country identified the new cases out of 6, 569 laboratory tests conducted in 24 hours.

Health officials also reported 12 deaths due to the virus, taking the death toll to 1,337.

Currently, there are nearly 45, 000 active cases. Of these, more than 300 patients are critically ill, according to the daily COVID report.

A total of 640 patients have recovered from the deadly respiratory illness caused by coronavirus. To date, more than 41, 628 patients have regained their health after contracting the virus.
