ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia has identified three new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number in the country to 38.
In a statement the ministry of health issued today, it said 89 laboratory tests have been conducted over the past 24 hours.
Three tests confirmed positive for COVID-19, the Ministry said.
All of the newly confirmed cases are residents of Addis Ababa and have a travel history.
The statement said the two patients – a 34 years old man and 35 years old woman – were under mandatory quarantine after their return from Dubai and Sweden, respectively.
Meanwhile, one additional patient has recovered fully, taking the tally to four, according to the Ministry.
“The 85 years old female patient who was reported to be in a critical condition is now recovered along with three other patients,” the ministry said.
