ADDIS ABABA – One of the first patients with a confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ethiopia has fully recovered, health officials announced today.
Ethiopia so far has registered 16 confirmed cases of coronavirus on March 13. Since then, the number of COVID-19 cases has been confirmed with the latest four cases identified on Friday.
The Ethiopian Public Health Institute announced the first recovery case today.
“In Ethiopia, one COVID-19 patient has fully recovered from the disease,” said the Institute.
Two tests made have confirmed that he is negative. But the individual will remain in quarantine “out of precaution”, health officials decided.
