Sahle-Work Congratulates Nigeria’s President-elect Tinubu

President of Ethiopia, Sahle-Work Zewde has congratulated Bola Tinubu on his election to the office of President of Nigeria.

Sahlework expressed her conviction that his election would serve as an opportunity to bring the longstanding and cordial relations between the two countries to new heights, as per the Ethiopian Foreign ministry.

Tinubu, 70, of the ruling All Progressives Congress party (APC) was declared the winner of the presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission last Wednesday.

He will succeed outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari, who will finsh his second term in office in May.
