Addis to Host Pan African Conference on Artificial Intelligence
ADDIS ABABA – The first Pan African Conference on Artificial intelligence (AI) is set to be held in Addis Ababa next month.
The newly built Museum of Art and Science in the capital will host the two-day event, beginning October 4, 2022.
AI researchers, computational scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers from academia, industry, and government institutions will discuss the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges in applying AI.
The participants will also talk about African strategies toward sustainable development through harnessing AI during the discussions set to be held both in person and virtually, the organizers say.
The Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute organized the event in collaboration with HAWK University, Chapa Financial Technologies S.C, and Presight.ai.
