AFCON 2023 Qualifiers: Ethiopia drawn with Egypt, Guinea and Malawi
ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia was drawn alongside Egypt, Malawi, and Guinea in the 2023 African Cup of Nations (2023 Afcon) qualifiers.
The draw was made in Johannesburg on Tuesday evening, ahead of the tournament to be played in Cote d’Ivoire in May and June next year.
Ethiopia and Egypt were put in Group D along with Guinea and Malawi.
Defending champions Senegal have been pooled in Group L where they will battle out with Benin, Mozambique and Rwanda.
Hosts Côte d’Ivoire are in Group H with Zambia, Comoros and Lesotho. Only one team will qualify from this group, alongside the hosts.
