Ethiopia, Italy Sign a Million Euro Grant

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia and Italy signed a million Euro grant agreement for civil information registration service.

The agreement was signed between Finance Minister Ahmed Shide and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Marina Sereni, on Tuesday.

The Ministers also discussed ways of further strengthening the development cooperation between the two nations, said the Ministry of Finance.

The vice minister of Italy is in Addis Ababa on a three-day-long official visit, leading a high level Italian government delegation.

Upon her arrival on Monday, Sereni met with deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen to discuss various current developments in Ethiopia, and paid a courtesy call to President Sahle-Work Zewde on the same day.
