Agency Reveals Grade 12 National Exam Results

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia’s Examinations Agency announced results of grade 12 exam for 2020/21 academic year on Wednesday.

About 97% of nearly 618, 000 grade 12 students of the 2020/21 batch took the exam in two phases in November 2021, as well as in the first week of January, 2022.

In a statement, the National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency said that students with a 50% score would be eligible to enter higher institutions.

Detailed information regarding mandatory points to join public universities will be released in the future, the agency added.

This year, however, the result of the Civics test will not be considered after the agency decided to nullify it in what appeared to be a cheating-related case.

The students can now know their results via the agency’s website result.neaea.gov.et, or the ministry of Education’s website, result.ethernet.edu.et

The results can also be found through a Telegram Bot (@moestudentbot) or 9444 text messages starting from Wednesday, 2022.
