Over 3bln Birr Raised to Support of Ethiopian National Defense Force

ADDIS ABABA – Over 3 billion Birr have been raised from the public to support of the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF), according to the Ministry of Defense.

Defense Minister Dr. Kenea Yadeta said Ethiopians here and abroad have been actively mobilizing resources to support the federal army’s efforts especially in thwarting challenges paused by the terrorist TPLF, reports Ethiopian news agency.

So far, the public have raised more than 3 billion birr, the report adds.

In Addition to the financial support, the minister said many provided support in kinds including 6,679 oxen as well as over 10,000 goats and sheep.
