ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will pay an officia visit to Turkey on Wednesday, the office of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced.
In a statement late Tuesday, the office said Prime Minister Abiy will make the visit upon an official invitation of President Erdogan.
“All aspects of the bilateral relations between Turkey and Ethiopia will be reviewed and potential steps for the further enhancing of the cooperation will be addressed at the talks to be held as part of the visit,” the statement says.
It also says the two nations top officials will exchange views on current regional and international developments.
Abiy’s visit to Turkey will coincides with the 125th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
