Ethiopian Prime Minister Begins Official Visit to Turkey

ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed and his delegation have arrived in Ankara, Turkey, for a working visit on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Abiy headed to Turkey upon an official invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.



“Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will be meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan where they are expected to discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest,” the PM office said in a brief statement after the PM’s arrival in Ankara.

Abiy’s visit to Turkey coincides with the 125th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
