Ethiopia Repatriates 345 Nationals from Saudi Arabia

ADDIS ABABA – At least 345 women and children have been repatriated from Saudi Arabia on Monday, officials said.

The flight carrying 345 returnees arrived at Addis Abeba Bole International Airport on Monday afternoon. Ethiopia’s foreign ministry said they were composed of 300 women and 45 children, .



Upon their return at the Airport, the ministry said officials have welcomed them back to their country.

The government has recently intensified its repatriation effort of migrants, who have been illegally entered gulf nations and unable to return back home.

Since the start of last week, the ministry reported more than 1, 100 Ethiopians stranded in Saudi Arabia and Oman have been repatriated.
