ADDIS ABABA – At least 300 Ethiopian national have been airlifted from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday as the government continues repatriating citizens stranded in the gulf nation.
“Today, 300 Ethiopians have returned to their country from Saudi Arabia’s city of Jeddah,” said the spokesperson office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
Officials of the Ministry welcomed the returnees at Bole International Airport, the Office said.
The number of people repatriated from Saudi Arabia this week has reached 638 after another flight from the same city brought 338 Ethiopian nationals back to their country on Monday.
