Ethiopia Reports 866 new Coronavirus Cases, 10 Deaths

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia has recorded 866 new cases of coronavirus on Monday and 10 related deaths on Sunday, reported ministry of health.

At least 7, 300 tests were conducted to find the new positive cases, said the ministry.
The latest figures has brought the total number of cases to 84, 290 and deaths to 1, 287.

The daily Covid-19 report also noted that there are now 44, 690 active cases in Ethiopia .

Of these patients, the daily report which claims 271 are severely ill and are currently seeking medical attention in Covid-19 health centers.

On the day, health officials have also reported 633 patients of the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus recuperated. The figure has taken the number of recoveries in the nation so far to 38, 316.

To date, the East African country has conducted more than 1.35 laboratory tests.
