COVID-19 tally in Ethiopia Reaches 250 with 11 New Cases

ADDIS ABEBA – Ethiopia announced 11 new coronavirus cases today, increasing the total number to 250.

About 1764 people have been tested over the past twenty-four hours. “Eleven of them confirmed positive for the virus,” says the ministry of health in its daily report.

The ministry described patients as patients with their ages ranging from 18 to 38. The majority of them (6) have been identified from Addis Ababa, the epicenter of the virus in Ethiopia.

The other 3 are from a quarantine center in Afar region, 2 from a quarantine center in Tigray region, and one from isolation center in Adama Town of Oromia region.

In total, there are 138 patients are in the COVID-19 treatment center across the nation.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health confirmed that six more people have recovered from the virus.

The latest figure takes the number of recoveries 105.
